Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com Correspondent \u2014 Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | January 29, 2026): <\/strong>Additional District and Sessions Judge Kallar Syedan, Jahangir Ali Gondal, has announced the verdict in a murder case, sentencing the accused, Kaleem Iqbal of Dhok Kashmiryana, Kallar Syedan, to 25 years of rigorous imprisonment under Section 302(c) of the Pakistan Penal Code.<\/h4>\n

The case was registered on June 8, 2019, at Kallar Syedan Police Station. According to the prosecution, the accused fired a shot from a .30 bore pistol at the head of Yasir Mahmood, killing him on the spot.<\/h4>\n

In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered the convict to pay Rs. 500,000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased. The amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue. In case of failure to pay the compensation, the convict will have to undergo an additional six months of simple imprisonment.<\/h4>\n
