The CMA (Pension) Lahore Cantt had formally directed the manager of Allied Bank, Shah Bagh branch near Kallar Syedan, through an official letter to return the six months\u2019 pension amount of pensioner Muhammad Munir that was mistakenly transferred to the said bank. The instructions clearly stated that the amount should be sent back via bank draft so it could be credited to the rightful pensioner\u2019s account.<\/h4>\n

However, instead of returning the pension amount exceeding Rs. 150,000, the bank manager erroneously credited the money into the account of another pensioner with the same name, Munir. As a result, the actual pensioner, Muhammad Munir, a resident of Chamba Kripal, faced severe financial hardship.<\/h4>\n

According to the affected pensioner, the pension amount continued to be deposited into the wrong account for several months. Despite repeatedly informing the bank administration about this serious mistake, no corrective action was taken.<\/h4>\n

Left with no other option due to continued negligence, the affected pensioner has now approached the court seeking justice and recovery of his rightful pension amount.<\/h4>\n
