A married woman allegedly attempted suicide by shooting herself in Kallar Syedan.<\/h4>\n

According to Dr. Tauqeer Maqsood, Media Focal Person of THQ Hospital, the injured woman, a resident of Basanta village near Chok Pindori, was brought to the THQ Hospital in a wounded condition. She told the police and the attending medical officer that she had fired a shot at her left shoulder with the intention of committing suicide and did not wish to give a statement against anyone.<\/h4>\n

However, according to the police report, the woman later stated in a distressed condition that she shot herself with a pistol lying at home due to domestic issues.<\/h4>\n

Police officials said that an investigation has been initiated to ascertain the reasons behind the incident, and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined.<\/h4>\n
