A man was killed and eight others, including two women, were injured in a firing incident stemming from an old enmity in the suburban village of Sood Sunbal near Rawat. The incident created panic in the area, prompting immediate police action.<\/h4>\n

According to details, a man identified as Ali allegedly opened fire with an automatic weapon in Sood Sunbal village. As a result, Muhammad Saqlain sustained critical injuries and succumbed to his wounds on the spot. Eight other individuals were injured in the firing, identified as Furqan, Safeer, Shahid Faisal, Azhar, Akhtar, Amjad, Rabia Shaheen (wife of Azhar), and Asia (wife of Azhar).<\/h4>\n

Upon receiving information, the SHO of Rawat Police Station, along with police personnel, reached the scene and shifted the deceased\u2019s body and the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The condition of some of the injured is reported to be serious.<\/h4>\n

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi City Police Officer (CPO) F. Khalid Hamdani took notice of the incident and sought a detailed report. Police officials confirmed that six individuals have been taken into custody for investigation, and further inquiries are underway to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
