Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, January 10, 2026)– <\/strong>A long-standing problem of low electricity voltage faced by the residents of Dhok Pehlwan and Pir Karanb has finally been resolved, bringing much-needed relief to the local population.<\/h4>\n

The issue was addressed through the special efforts of former Nazim UC Karanb, Ilyas<\/strong>, and former Vice Chairman UC Jhangi, Jalal Ghazanfar Ali Kiani<\/strong>. With their initiative, the matter was taken up at higher levels, resulting in coordinated action by former Federal Parliamentary Secretary Raja Javed Ikhlas<\/strong>, MPA PP-9 Raja Shaukat Aziz Bhatti<\/strong>, Vice President Pakistan Muslim League (N) District Rawalpindi Haji Tayyab Bashir Qureshi<\/strong>, and Chaudhry Aamir Gujar<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Previously, a 25 kV transformer had been installed in the area, which proved insufficient to meet the growing electricity demand. Due to persistent low voltage, residents were unable to operate basic appliances such as water motors and electric fans, causing severe hardship, especially during peak usage hours.<\/h4>\n

Recognizing the seriousness of the issue, Ghazanfar Ali Kiani<\/strong> brought the matter to the notice of the leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Tehsil Gujar Khan. Following this intervention, the outdated transformer was upgraded, effectively resolving the low voltage problem and significantly improving the electricity supply in the area.<\/h4>\n
