Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | November 09, 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has taken notice of the tragic death of a woman in the jurisdiction of Gujar Khan Police Station. Acting promptly, the police arrested all three suspects named in the case.<\/h4>\n

CPO Rawalpindi, Syed Khalid Hamdani, sought a detailed report from SP Saddar, Nabeel Khokhar. According to police sources, the case was registered under murder and sexual assault charges based on the victim\u2019s husband\u2019s statement. The three accused have been taken into custody and will be presented before the court on Friday for remand to begin further investigation.<\/h4>\n

In his complaint, the plaintiff alleged that the accused deceived his wife, took her jewelry, blackmailed her, and later assaulted her. He claimed that the suspects poisoned his wife, leading to her death.<\/h4>\n

The deceased woman\u2019s post-mortem was conducted at THQ Hospital Gujar Khan last night, and the final forensic report will be compiled and submitted by the Lahore Forensic Lab.<\/h4>\n

CPO Rawalpindi stated that the investigation is being supervised by the SSP Investigation and will be conducted strictly on merit.
