Rawat (Pothwar.com \u2014 Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | October 26, 2025) <\/em>Late at night in the Baga Sheikhan area of Rawat, armed motorcycle riders opened fire on a police party. During the exchange of fire, a wanted criminal, Taimoor, who was involved in a murder case, was killed, while his accomplice managed to escape.<\/h4>\n

According to police sources, the deceased suspect, Taimoor had a criminal record and was wanted in several cases, including murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of weapons. During the crossfire, a police vehicle and Constable Ehtesham were struck by bullets, but he remained unharmed due to his bulletproof jacket.<\/h4>\n

Police reported that the team had signalled the motorcyclists to stop when they suddenly opened fire. Senior police officers reached the scene immediately after the incident, and a search operation is ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect.<\/h4>\n
