A case has been registered in Kallar Syedan<\/strong> against two men accused of defrauding Rs 2.55 million<\/strong> from a local resident under the pretense of a property deal.<\/h4>\n

According to the complaint filed by Zia Shahid<\/strong>, a resident of Dobairan Kalan<\/strong>, he met Muhammad Nazir<\/strong> and his son Aqib Nazir<\/strong>, residents of Jinnah Colony, Kallar Syedan<\/strong>, in September 2018<\/strong>. The two introduced themselves as property dealers and persuaded him to invest with them.<\/h4>\n

On September 26, 2018<\/strong>, the complainant met Javed Iqbal<\/strong>, son of Aziz-ur-Rehman (resident of Islamabad), and Zaheer Abbas<\/strong>, son of Maqbool Hussain, at Choa Road, Kallar Syedan<\/strong>, through Nazir and Aqib. The accused invited him to their house in Jinnah Colony<\/strong>, where they claimed that Javed Iqbal<\/strong> owned 5 kanals and 14 marlas<\/strong> of land in Mouza Kallar Budhal<\/strong> and that they were finalising a deal for the property.<\/h4>\n

They asked Zia Shahid to pay Rs 2,550,000<\/strong> as security, promising to transfer the land in his name and have a stamp paper<\/strong> written for him. The complainant stated that a stamp paper (No. 1531, dated September 6, 2018)<\/strong> was prepared by Dilshad Khan<\/strong>, a licensed deed writer from Kallar Syedan, and the original document remains in his possession.<\/h4>\n

However, despite repeated requests to complete the land transfer, the accused kept delaying. Upon further inquiry, Zia discovered that no such land existed under Javed Iqbal\u2019s name<\/strong> in Kallar Budhal.<\/h4>\n

The complainant alleged that the accused fraudulently presented themselves as property owners<\/strong> and cheated him through deception and forgery<\/strong>. Police have registered a case, and further investigation is underway.<\/h4>\n
