The Islamic world mourns the loss of Dr Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani<\/strong>, a distinguished scholar, exegete, researcher, and missionary of Islam, who served as the Supreme Patron of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat in the United Kingdom<\/strong>. His passing marks the departure of a great spiritual leader and thinker of Islam, leaving a profound sense of grief not only in the UK but across the global Muslim community.<\/h4>\n

Dr Gilani\u2019s life was a shining example of knowledge, piety, patience, and dedication to the service of Islam<\/strong>. He was born on December 14, 1935, in the village of Sandhu Syedan, Rawalpindi District<\/strong>, into a venerable spiritual family directly descended from Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA)<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

His father, Pir Syed Wilayat Ali Shah Gilani (RA)<\/strong>, was a renowned scholar and practising Sufi saint, who nurtured and guided his son in the light of the Quran and Sunnah<\/strong>. From an early age, Dr Gilani exhibited a remarkable passion for acquiring knowledge and serving humanity.<\/h4>\n

He received his initial religious education locally<\/strong>\u00a0and later pursued advanced studies in Islamic sciences, jurisprudence (Fiqh), Hadith, and Tafsir<\/strong> from eminent religious institutions. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to spreading Islamic knowledge, guiding the community, and promoting spiritual and moral values<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Dr Pir Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani leaves behind a legacy of scholarship and spiritual guidance that will continue to inspire future generations of Muslims around the world.
