Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, Muhammad Najeeb Jarral, July 18, 2025) \u2014 In Narali village, heavy rainfall caused water flow in the streets to rise to dangerous levels. Due to the strong current, a 10-year-old boy named Abdul Qadir was suddenly swept away by the floodwaters. The incident created fear and panic in the village.<\/h4>\n

According to eyewitnesses, Abdul Qadir was playing when he accidentally fell into the flowing water in the street and was carried away by the strong current. Local residents immediately launched a rescue operation and, after great difficulty, saved the boy. He was given first aid on site and later transferred to Doltala Hospital, where doctors conducted a full checkup and treatment before sending him home.<\/h4>\n

Following the incident, parents in the village expressed deep concern and demanded improvements in the drainage system to prevent such dangerous events in the future.<\/h4>\n

The pole, installed by WAPDA on a high mound of soil, has become unstable due to heavy recent rains, causing the soil beneath it to erode rapidly. This has raised fears that the pole may collapse at any moment.<\/h4>\n

Local residents warn that if the pole falls, the high-voltage wires hanging from it could cause a major disaster, potentially resulting in loss of precious lives. The community is gripped by fear, with children and elderly residents hesitant to leave their homes.<\/h4>\n
