Kallar Syedan, July 14, 2025 (Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | Pothwar.com)<\/em> \u2014 The tehsil administration has imposed a strict ban on bathing and picnicking in seasonal streams and water channels across Kallar Syedan and surrounding areas. Large warning banners and panaflex signs have been placed along various streams, clearly stating that anyone found bathing in the streams will be arrested and sent to jail.<\/h4>\n

This action was taken on the directives of Assistant Commissioner Shabana Nazir. In compliance, Tehsildar Babar Islam, along with local patwaris, conducted visits to areas including Kallar Syedan, Chowk Pindori, Choa Khalsa, Shah Khaki, Takal, and adjoining regions. The public was firmly advised to stay away from dangerous water bodies.<\/h4>\n

During his inspection of a tent settlement near Nala Kanshi in Kallar Syedan, which houses migrants from South Punjab, Tehsildar Babar Islam informed residents about the bathing ban. The settlers responded by saying that, after being notified by the authorities earlier, they had refrained from entering the streams. Instead, they now use water from a bore installed in their camp, and their children bathe there as well.<\/h4>\n
