July 11, 2025- <\/em>A deadly exchange of gunfire took place between law enforcement officials and dangerous criminals in a remote area near <strong data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"327\">Tandoi Pul<\/strong> in Sohawa, leading to the arrest of a notorious suspect, <strong data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"403\">Kamran Shoukat<\/strong>, who later succumbed to his injuries.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"443\" data-end=\"697\">According to official sources, the <strong data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"512\">Counter Crime Department (CCD)<\/strong> was conducting a targeted operation in the outskirts of Sohawa when their team came under heavy fire from wanted criminals. The team retaliated swiftly, resulting in a fierce gunfight.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"975\">During the exchange, Kamran Shoukat \u2014 a key suspect wanted in multiple cases of <strong data-start=\"779\" data-end=\"820\">kidnapping, armed robbery, and murder<\/strong> \u2014 was critically injured and taken into custody. He was immediately shifted to <strong data-start=\"900\" data-end=\"923\">THQ Hospital Sohawa<\/strong>, but despite medical efforts, he could not survive.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"977\" data-end=\"1198\">Authorities confirmed that Kamran Shoukat was a <strong data-start=\"1025\" data-end=\"1048\">proclaimed offender<\/strong> with a long criminal record. His presence in the area had been under surveillance, and the operation was a result of weeks of intelligence gathering.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-start=\"1200\" data-end=\"1429\">The CCD team remained unharmed in the incident. A search operation is underway to locate other suspects who fled the scene.
