According to a statement from Rawat Police Station, Deputy Field Commander Shehbaz Anjum reported that they received information from a confidential source about a murder in Dhok Choudhrian, near Takht Pari. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the accused, Ikhlaq Ahmed, had instructed his daughter, Mehak Shehzadi, to delete her social media account from her mobile phone.<\/h4>\n

When Mehak allegedly did not comply, her father became enraged. In a fit of anger, reportedly under the pretext of “family honour,” Ikhlaq Ahmed opened fire on his daughter, killing her on the spot. He then fled the scene before authorities arrived.<\/h4>\n

The police have registered a case and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspect. Mehak\u2019s body was shifted to the local hospital for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams collected evidence from the crime scene.<\/h4>\n
