Mount Kanchenjunga, towering at 8,586 meters (28,169 feet), is located in the eastern Himalayas on the border between Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim. It is known for its technical difficulty and treacherous weather conditions, making it one of the most dangerous 8000-meter peaks to climb.<\/h4>\n

Kiani’s successful ascent of Kanchenjunga marks another historic milestone in her mountaineering career.
