Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com, Ikram ul Haq Qureshi \u2013 May 7, 2025)<\/em> \u2014 In a distressing incident in Kallar Syedan, a married woman from Haripur was allegedly sexually assaulted under the false pretence of a marriage proposal. Kallar Syedan police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.<\/h4>\n

According to the FIR, the complainant (identified as F), wife of Munir Iqbal and resident of Rehmania, Haripur, reported that around two months ago, she met a man named Chaudhry Abid\u2014who resides near Chaudhry Zumurd Road on Bhalakhar Road\u2014at Jameel Mart, where he expressed his interest in marrying her 35-year-old niece Nabila.<\/h4>\n

On April 22, Abid allegedly called Nabila and asked her to meet near a graveyard by Kallar Chowk at 2 PM. Upon arrival, she met a man named Shehzad, who claimed Abid had sent him to pick her up. Shehzad took her near Peeran Wala Chowk, parked the car, and facilitated a video call with Abid. Abid claimed he was busy and couldn’t come. Shehzad then left her near the graveyard.<\/h4>\n

Later that evening, Abid called the complainant again and invited her to see his house and discuss the marriage proposal. When she arrived, he allegedly took her inside and sexually assaulted her, with another unidentified man also present. Abid then tried to reassure her, saying he intended to marry her and that the incident was a mistake before marriage. Kallar Syedan police have filed an FIR and started the investigation into the matter.<\/h4>\n
