Speaking to reporters, Raja\u202fNadeem\u202fAhmed\u2014senior PML\u2011N figure in PP\u20117 and former district chairman\u2014explained that \u201ctriple\u2011surface treatment\u201d (four\u2011inch aggregate plus asphalt) will be applied to the six most\u2011damaged kilometres, while \u201cdouble\u2011surface treatment\u201d is planned for the remaining eight kilometres where the surface is less degraded. The project also includes 270\u202ffeet of retaining walls and 1,000\u202ffeet of roadside drainage near Skot Dhok Bagla Rajgan.<\/h4>\n

The contract was awarded through an open, lowest\u2011bid tender overseen by NESPAK consultancy and executed under the Punjab Highways Department. Raja\u202fNadeem assured the public of quality control, citing the province\u2019s check\u2011and\u2011balance system, and hinted that additional improvements omitted from the initial tender may be approved soon.<\/h4>\n

He and other community members expressed gratitude to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, MNA Raja\u202fOsama\u202fAshfaq\u202fSarwar, and MPA Raja\u202fSagheer\u202fAhmed for initiating the project, urging locals to remain patient as repair work proceeds.<\/h4>\n
