Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com\u00a0 \u2013 April 16, 2025): A tragic case of suspected food poisoning has affected over 150 people in the village of Dhoong, a suburban area near Daultala, following a wedding feast (walima) held on Sunday evening.<\/h4>\n

According to local sources, shortly after the event, a large number of attendees began experiencing symptoms of food poisoning, including vomiting, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. The situation quickly escalated as dozens of individuals required urgent medical attention.<\/h4>\n

Health officials confirmed that more than 150 individuals were affected. Emergency response teams, including medical personnel from Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Gujar Khan, were immediately mobilized. At the request of Dr. Sarmad Hassan Kayani, the medical superintendent of THQ Hospital, the Mustafavi Welfare Trust dispatched an ambulance to the affected area in Dhoong to assist in transporting patients.<\/h4>\n
