Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com\u00a0 \u2013 April 14, 2025):—A tragic incident took place in the suburban area of Dhok Hashoo, located in Jand Nijar near Gujar Khan, where a man was shot dead by his own brother over a property dispute. According to initial police reports, the victim, identified as Sajjad, was allegedly killed by his real brother, Wilayat, during a heated argument.<\/h4>\n

The dispute between the two brothers had been ongoing for some time, reportedly over the division of inherited property on Sukho road. On the day of the incident, tensions escalated, leading Wilayat to open fire on Sajjad. As a result, Sajjad died on the spot. A woman present at the scene was also injured during the gunfire.<\/h4>\n

ASP Syed Danial Hassan arrived at the scene and, along with Gujar Khan police personnel, assessed the situation. The body of the deceased was taken into police custody for legal proceedings, and an initial case has been registered. The police have launched a full investigation into the matter and are currently collecting evidence and eyewitness statements.<\/h4>\n
