The demonstration took place after Friday prayers and saw the participation of political and social figures, including Provincial Assembly candidate for PP-7, Col. (R) Waseem Ahmed Janjua, and a large number of local citizens.<\/h4>\nThe protest was jointly organized by the Kahuta Press Club and the Rural Social Welfare Society. A resolution was presented and unanimously passed to completely boycott Israeli products, both for sale and purchase. The protest featured passionate speeches in support of Palestine and strong condemnation of Israeli atrocities.<\/h4>\nProminent figures who addressed the gathering included Syed Ahmed Shah, Raja Imran Zamir Janjua (President, Kahuta Press Club), Haji Asghar Hussain Kayani (General Secretary), Dr. Muhammad Arif Qureshi, Abrar Hussain Abbasi (Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami PP-7), Haji Malik Abdul Rauf (Chief Patron, Anjuman Tajran), Professor Asif Khattar, Haji Malik Munir Awan, Raja Taimoor Akhtar (Punjab Teachers Union), Raja Ishraq, Advocate Hafiz Ghulam Rabbani (Vice President, Kahuta Bar), Qari Usman Usmani, and other notable scholars and leaders from various sectors.<\/h4>\nSpeakers condemned Israeli brutality in the harshest terms and urged the United Nations and international human rights organizations to take immediate action to stop the genocide. They also called on Pakistani authorities and institutions to take a firm stand and unite the Muslim Ummah against the ongoing oppression.<\/h4>\nDuring the protest, restaurant owner Hamid Ijaz symbolically dumped Israeli products into the drains in protest.
