Jewelers and son of Sheikh Zaffar Khawaja, owner of Khawaja Oil Mills, was critically injured in an attempted murder near his business, Hashim Oil Mills, on Pindi Road, Kahuta. Sheikh Atif, who manages Hashim Oil Mills, reported that as he exited the main entrance, he noticed two young men on a motorcycle. Upon asking why they were there, one of the men drew a pistol and fired at him with intent to kill. A bullet struck his right ankle, causing him to fall as the assailants fled the scene.<\/h4>\n<h4>Sheikh Atif was initially treated at the Kahuta Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and then transferred to Rawalpindi District Hospital for further medical care due to the severity of his injuries.
