Kahuta (Pothwar.com, Kabir Ahmad Janjua, November 7, 2024) – Member of Provincial Assembly Raja Sagheer Ahmad, accompanied by his personal assistant Sardar Shahid and journalist Kabir Ahmad Janjua, visited the residence of renowned journalist Sheikh Qamar-ul-Islam to offer recovery wishes. Sheikh Qamar-ul-Islam, former President of the Press Club, recently returned home after a successful gallbladder surgery.<\/h4>\n

During the visit, MPA Raja Sagheer Ahmad expressed his well-wishes, praying for Sheikh Qamar\u2019s speedy recovery. He emphasized his commitment to the development of his constituency, PP-7, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, promising significant development projects. He reiterated that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is dedicated to service-oriented politics, vowing to stand by his constituents at every step.<\/h4>\n

On behalf of the merchants of Mughal Bazaar, Sheikh Khurshid Ahmad, President of the Traders Association, raised concerns with the MPA regarding the safety of salesmen who travel from Rawalpindi and other areas to sell goods in Kallar Syedan. Ahmad reported an increase in robberies targeting salesmen within the jurisdiction of the Kallar Syedan police station over the past week, urging for their protection. Raja Sagheer Ahmad assured the merchants of his support.<\/h4>\n

Kahuta Citizens’ Action Committee Vows Protest Over Delayed Road Projects and Public Issues<\/h2>\n

\nThe Kahuta Citizens\u2019 Action Committee has announced plans for protests if work does not begin soon on the Kahuta-Pindi Road and Kahuta Bypass. In a recent meeting attended by prominent committee members\u2014including Colonel (Retd.) Waseem Janjua, Haji Malik Abdul Rauf, Malik Munir Awan, Raja Faisal Liaqat, Inayat Ullah Satti, Nazim Qamar, Raja Hamad Ijaz, Abrar Abbasi, and Sardar Masood\u2014the committee voiced determination to press for action, saying they would not remain silent about local issues affecting the community.<\/h4>\n

Colonel (Retd.) Waseem Janjua and Haji Malik Abdul Rauf updated the attendees on the committee\u2019s outreach efforts, detailing that letters had been sent to high-ranking officials, including the Chairman of KRL, Chairman of NHA, DG SPD, Federal Secretary of Finance, Rawalpindi Commissioner, and Kahuta Assistant Commissioner.
