Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, September 17, 2024)<\/em> \u2013 The completion date for the Rawalpindi Ring Road project has been extended once again, now aiming for September 2025. The Central Development Working Party had sent the revised PC-1 of the project with observations to the Planning and Development Department of Punjab, which has been returned to the RDA.<\/h4>\n

According to sources, the Central Development Working Party stressed that no increase in the project’s cost would be allowed. Any additional expenses must be covered through savings from other areas within the revised budget. The project, which began in September 2023, was initially targeted for completion by December 2024, but was later extended to February 2025 by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz during her visit. Now, the deadline has been pushed further to September 2025 to ensure quality improvements.<\/h4>\n
