Despite repeated complaints from residents, the authorities remain unresponsive. The public has expressed frustration as municipal employees, who enjoy high salaries and various perks, have failed to provide basic services.<\/h4>\n

Although the Public Health Department has completed the water supply scheme, the Kahuta Municipal Committee has yet to take charge and ensure water distribution to the affected areas. Despite ongoing complaints, the water supply has not been restored, even though residents continue to receive regular water bills.<\/h4>\n

During the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government, a grant of 450 million PKR was used to install new water pipelines, upgrade motors, and enhance the filtration plant in Kahuta. However, the negligence of municipal employees has rendered the project ineffective, leaving even those areas without water that had a steady supply just two months ago.<\/h4>\n

A recent survey showed that the public is demanding the Punjab government conduct an inquiry into the employees responsible for this negligence and take strict action. The residents are also calling for the immediate restoration of the water supply, warning that they will stage a protest in front of the Kahuta Municipal Committee office if their demands are not met.<\/h4>\n
