Kahuta (Pothwar.com, Imran Zamir, August 23, 2024) \u2013A gang involved in the heinous acts of sexual assault, blackmail, and extortion has been apprehended by the Kahuta Police. The gang exploited a local woman, identified as S.S., whose husband works abroad.<\/h4>\n

According to the victim\u2019s written complaint, she was initially approached by one Hafiz Tauseef during a religious gathering in April 2023. Tauseef, after gaining her trust, forcibly assaulted her and recorded the incident on video. He then used the footage to blackmail her, threatening to send it to her husband if she did not comply with his demands for money. Over time, Tauseef managed to withdraw approximately 1.6 million PKR from her bank account.<\/h4>\n

Subsequently, another member of the group, Jamil Shah, also began visiting her and similarly assaulted and blackmailed her, extorting an additional 1 million PKR and 5 tolas of gold jewellery. The victim was further tormented by local men, Saqib and Rizwan, who also abused and extorted her.<\/h4>\n

Following her complaint, the Kahuta Police registered a case under sections 376, 420, and 292 of the Penal Code. The suspects have been arrested, and the police\u2019s swift action has been praised by the local community, particularly by SDPO Mirza Tahir Sikandar and SHO for their effective operation.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
