August 17, 2024) \u2013 The people of Dera Mushtaq Shah City celebrated Independence Day with great national spirit. Green and white flags were prominently displayed at Najam Super Store, the residence of Syed Mushtaq Hussain Naqvi, and other shops in the Dera Mushtaq Shah Bazaar. Renowned social figure Agha Syed Mushtaq Hussain Naqvi, while speaking to the media, emphasized the sacrifices made by their ancestors, who resisted the oppressive policies and double standards of the Hindus. He highlighted that under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Muslims of the subcontinent initiated the Pakistan Movement, grounded in the Two-Nation Theory. This movement, which raised awareness among Muslims in various fields including religion, politics, and education, ultimately led to the successful creation of an independent Islamic state.
