has issued compensation checks totalling Rs. 6.3 million for the families of six women who lost their lives in the Narh Chashma accident two years ago. Representing the Chief Minister, MPA Raja Saghir Ahmad distributed the checks to the bereaved families, who expressed their gratitude for the government&#8217;s support.<\/h4>\n<h4>The tragic incident occurred on May 24, 2022, in the Narh (Deegal) area of Kahuta, where women from Chashma Mohalla were fetching water. The victims included Gulfreen, wife of Khushi Muhammad; Nimra Bibi, wife of Zaffarullah Umar; Shabnam Ishtiaq, wife of Muhammad Ishtiaq; Ayesha Javed, daughter of Muhammad Javed; Samina Bibi, wife of Mehboob; and Iman Bibi, daughter of Mehboob Rabbani, along with a newborn child.<\/h4>\n<h4>Upon the return of the PML-N government, the case was revisited, and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif sanctioned Rs. 600,000 for each of the six women and Rs. 300,000 for the newborn child.
