Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com, Ikram ul Haq Qureshi, July 28, 2024) \u2014 A case has been registered against former Investigating Officer Sub-Inspector Wajid Munir for failing to present case challans to the court in a timely manner. Magistrate Section 30, Malik Mukhtar Akbar, issued a written order to the SHO of Kallar Syedan police station stating that the former Investigating Officer, who was stationed at Kallar Syedan, did not complete and present the case challans within the 14-day period required by law.<\/h4>\n

The Investigating Officer was supposed to either complete the challans within the stipulated time or submit an interim report to the court within three days, but he failed to do both. Due to this negligence and deliberate violation of duties and regulations, including ignoring the provisions of the Police Orders 2002, he has been deemed culpable. The honourable court has directed the SHO of Kallar Syedan to register a case against the said officer and submit a report to the court within two days.<\/h4>\n
