involving Saddiqat Ali Abbasi, terrorism court number 1 in Rawalpindi has ordered the arrest of Shahbaz Gul, Murad Saeed, Colonel Muhammad Shabir Awan, Musarrat Cheema, and Shabli Faraz, to be presented on April 2. Former PTI central leader Colonel Muhammad Shabir Awan appeared in court where his interim bail until April 2 was accepted. Speaking to the media, he stated that he was neither wanted nor named in any FIR related to the May 9 incident, but due to the outcomes of Sadaqat Ali Abbasi&#8217;s 164 statements, he was included in the cases related to RA Bazaar and Soul Lane, which are based on false allegations. He emphasized his affiliation with the Pakistan Army, stating that implicating soldiers like him in the May 9 events is an attempt to halt his political journey, a task that someone within or outside PTI cannot accomplish. He mentioned having obtained interim bail from the court and will attend the investigation on Saturday. Colonel Muhammad Shabir Awan stated that he has contested elections twice from Kahuta for PTI candidacy, alleging a conspiracy against him by Tariq Mahmood Murtaza.
