PTI-backed candidate Colonel Shabbir Awan was declared the winner. The final results of the election were announced by Returning Officer Fazlur Rahman. Polling continued on February 8 but the results were received late. The final result was declared on February 9 around 11 am between the PTI-backed independent candidate Col. Shabbir Awan got first place with 72898 votes, Raja Sagheer Ahmed was second with 66338 votes, similarly, Colonel Waseem Ahmed Janjua of Crane Party was at third place with 22095 votes, Raja Nadeem Ahmed independent candidate with 8952 votes. The fourth and PPP&#8217;s Chaudhry Zaheer remained in the fifth position with 6870.
