The IESCO (Islamabad Electric Supply Company) division in Choa Khalsa witnessed power feeders for multiple electricity grids remaining suspended from 9 AM to 2 PM, leaving communities without electricity during crucial daylight hours.<\/h4>\n

While the power outages persisted, load shedding continued intermittently in other regions, exacerbating the water crisis. Consumers faced difficulties in accessing water due to the frequent closures of supply lines. Despite thousands of individuals enduring the deprivation of electricity, water, and gas on the first day of the new year, political leaders maintain that they had resolved the gas crisis earlier. This raises questions among the affected populace about the accuracy of such claims, given the ongoing hours-long load shedding.<\/h4>\n
