Rawat: (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, December 10, 2023)- Following the directives of Director General Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), Mohammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering Directorate (MP&TE) of RDA has issued notices to the owners of four illegal private housing schemes. The recipients of the notices include Malik Ayaz Khanzada, Malik Junaid Ayaz, Saqib Tanoli, Abid Nawaz Qureshi, Haji Abdul Wahab Khan, Ghulam Shabir, and Ibrar Hussain.<\/h4>\n

In the Tehsil Taxila area, three illegal private housing schemes\u2014High Life City, Project SSJ Marketing and Property Advisors, and Wah Hills\u2014along with Gurdahi Afghan Road in Chakri Road Rawalpindi under Aman Scheme, have been included in the notices. The spokesperson for RDA, stated that the Director General has also instructed the Director MP&TE to take action against illegal advertisements and marketing. FIRs will be registered against the owners of illegal housing schemes as well.<\/h4>\n

Furthermore, sponsors are cautioned to immediately cease marketing of their unauthorized and illegal housing schemes. They are advised to contact RDA for NOC approval, and failure to do so will result in stringent legal actions against them. The public is urged to refrain from investing in illegal and unauthorized housing schemes.<\/h4>\n

The spokesperson emphasized that the public should verify with RDA before investing in housing schemes and can also check the information on the RDA website www.rda.gop.pk<\/a>. The owners of illegal housing schemes and sponsors are misleading the public through advertisements. The Planning Wing of RDA has requested the cybercrime wing and FIA to take legal action against these illegal and misleading advertisements to protect the public from falling into their traps.<\/h4>\n

The mentioned crimes have been committed by the owners of illegal housing schemes and are also in violation of Rule 37 of the Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Schemes Rules 2021. Legal action will be taken against them.<\/h4>\n
