Kahuta, Dr. Samina Bhatti, Population Planning Officer in charge of Family Planning in Kahuta, shed light on crucial initiatives, including mental and physical health awareness, to ensure the well-being of children before marriage. Dr. Fozia, also present at the event, She mentioned that Pre-Marital Counseling is a new project initiated by the Population Welfare Department of Punjab, initially launched in four districts, including Rawalpindi. She emphasized that their master trainers provide proper training to the youth on respect for relationships, rights and duties, and expression of emotions.<\/h4>\nDr. Fozia explained that counseling aims to guide in making informed decisions, not just emotional but thoughtful choices. They also provide awareness through screening tests related to thalassemia, hepatitis, congenital disorders, and various diseases. Special attention is given to educating children about these issues, and assistance is provided in building happy and healthy households.<\/h4>\nThe training is conducted at all levels and includes teachers, scholars, doctors, pyramid social, and political figures, media personnel, and young generations and their parents.
