“Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, October 21, 2023) \u2014 The Kallar Syedan Police have filed a case against two individuals for fraudulent check dishonor involving a sum of 88 million rupees. The accused, Ansar Khan, son of Bostan Khan, and resident of Daryala Segan, made a statement while registering the case. Ansar Khan stated that he resides in France and is the owner of multiple commercial and agricultural properties. He claimed that he had a good business relationship with Shafqat Hussain, who operates under the name of Shafqat Traders, and he needed an amount of 88 million rupees to improve his business circumstances. He alleged that Shafqat Hussain promised to return the entire amount soon, and he handed over the said amount on October 19, 2022, at Shani Decorations Market, in the presence of witnesses Zeshan Ali, son of Ilyas Ahmed, and Haroon Sakhawat, son of Sakhawat Hussain.<\/h4>\n

When Ansar Khan requested the return of his money, Shafqat Hussain handed him six different checks. However, when Ansar Khan went to cash these checks at the respective bank branches, the checks were dishonored. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that all six checks were drawn on the accounts of Noor Medina Trading Private Limited. This company operates under the ownership of the accused, Khurram Shahzad, son of Chaudhry Altaf Hussain, and is operational in Kallar Syedan.<\/h4>\n

As a result, Shafqat Hussain tried to defraud Ansar Khan by first providing four checks, and later, he issued checks numbered 5 and 6 from the account of Khurram Shahzad, with the intent to deprive the victim of a substantial amount of money. Shafqat Hussain and Khurram Shahzad knowingly handed over these checks to Ansar Khan, even though there were insufficient funds in their accounts. Consequently, Shafqat Hussain and Khurram Shahzad have been charged under Section 489-F of the Pakistan Penal Code for their involvement in this offense.”<\/h4>\n
