Qazian, Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, Raja Tariq Ayub, August 20, 2023) \u2014 In a shocking incident that has left the community in dismay, a heart-wrenching crime occurred in the rural vicinity of Qazian, Gujar Khan. A son mercilessly murdered his mother by severing her neck and then setting her body on fire. The gruesome act took place in the village of Adra naer Rukhia Sharif.<\/h4>\n

The victim, 65-year-old Parveen Akhtar, was working in the fields when her estranged son, Nazabat Hussain, launched a horrifying attack. Nazabat Hussain allegedly approached his mother with a knife, inflicted fatal wounds, and then fired shots, leading to her immediate demise at the scene. After committing the gruesome act, the son reportedly set his mother’s remains ablaze and fled the scene.<\/h4>\n

According to sources, the unfortunate perpetrator had been pressuring his parents for financial support to go abroad. He claimed that they were facing financial difficulties and asked his parents how to arrange the money needed for his journey abroad. This issue had led to discussions in the past, but it escalated tragically when the son, who had been working in the fields, violently took his mother’s life and then burned her body to ashes.<\/h4>\n

Law enforcement swiftly took control of the situation, apprehending the alleged killer himself. The police took custody of the charred remains and transferred them to the district headquarters hospital in Gujar Khan for post-mortem examinations. It has been reported that the perpetrator willingly surrendered to the authorities after committing the heinous act.<\/h4>\n
