incident, the traffic situation from T-Chowk to Ayub Park has deteriorated significantly. Commuters are stuck in their vehicles for hours, and traffic congestion remains relentless. The diversion routes at Rawat Interchange have also been unable to ease the traffic congestion on Sawan and Lehi bridges.<\/h4>\n<h4>The roadways are plagued by long queues of vehicles, creating an almost standstill situation along High Court Road due to the partial closure of a section of the Sawan Bridge. This condition has persisted for over a month, and the volume of traffic congestion has increased from Car Chowk to Scheme III and Car Chowk to PWD.<\/h4>\n<h4>Reports suggest that the expansion of Sawan and Lehi bridges is expected to be completed within the next two years, and additional projects have already commenced during their construction, exacerbating the current predicament. The closure of a portion of the bridge at Rawat Interchange has led to a bottleneck effect, resulting in traffic congestion reminiscent of roundabouts.<\/h4>\n<h4>Despite the bridge&#8217;s reopening, people&#8217;s difficulties continue due to the ongoing projects. Even during the Eid holidays, the bridge remained closed. However, it is now anticipated that the bridge will be open for traffic on August 14, during the Independence Day celebrations. While this development is welcomed, the completion of other projects is expected to take more time.
