Gujarkhan: (Pothwar.com, May 22, 2023)\u2014The candidate of the religious political group Tehreek-e-Labbaik for the Provincial Assembly seat PP-9, Raja Babar Karamat, along with his brother Raja Sajjad Karamat, was arrested at Karachi Airport for attempting to smuggle over 90 kilograms of narcotics worth over a billion rupees to Dubai.<\/h4>\n

The Anti-Narcotics Force apprehended the suspects and registered an FIR against them. Raja Babar, who had previously left the PML-N to join Tehreek-e-Labbaik, made allegations last night at Clifton Police Station in Karachi, claiming that the FIR was filed by the Muslim League as a means to blackmail and harass him, denying his rejoining of the party.<\/h4>\n

In response, a senior Muslim League (N) leader from Gujar Khan strongly refuted Raja Babar Karamat’s claims and stated that the FIR against him was not filed in Gujar Khan or Punjab but in Karachi.
