Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikramul Haq Qureshi, 31, March 2023)- Under the direction of Deputy Director FIA EGOA Unit Islamabad, Rana Shahid Habib raided 4 power transformer workshops involved in illegal activities, hundreds of IESCO transformers were recovered.<\/h4>\n

During the raid, a large number of transformer bodies, substandard oil, copper material were recovered.<\/h4>\n

A large number of transformers, precious oil and copper besides substandard silver coils were recovered from the spot. During the raid, a large number of IESCO poles were also recovered.<\/h4>\n

Precious copper and oil were being stolen from IESCO transformers by storing them illegally. The accused IESCO officers were involved in the sale of transformers under the guise of repairing with the connivance of vendors.<\/h4>\n

The government of Pakistan was losing crores of rupees in the form of line losses due to non-standard oil and silver coils.<\/h4>\n

The accused were giving financial benefits to each other with the connivance of IESCO officials. Separate cases were registered against the four workshop owners and an investigation was started.<\/h4>\n
