After Mr. Fayaz arrived at an address in East New York, Brooklyn, at around 6:50 p.m. on Saturday, along with his brother-in-law, Mr. Jones \u201cjokingly\u201d asked the men if they were carrying guns while walking them down a driveway, James Essig, the New York Police Department\u2019s chief of detectives, said at a news conference on Tuesday.<\/h4>\n<h4>Both men said no, Chief Essig said, and Mr. Jones then pulled Mr. Fayaz into a headlock, pointed a gun to his head and demanded money, he said.
