(Pothwar.com, 14, January 2023)-Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, decided to give the status of tehsil to Union Council Daultala in District Rawalpindi.<\/h4>\n<h4>The decision was made during a meeting attended by members of the Provincial Assembly, including Provincial Minister Raja Basharat, Amjad Mahmood Chaudhary, Chaudhry Sajid Mehmood, and Javed Kausar.<\/h4>\n<h4>To ensure the smooth implementation of this decision, the chief minister issued directives to construct tehsil offices and residences for public officials.<\/h4>\n<h4>He also formed a task force to demarcate the new tehsils to ensure that the process is carried out efficiently and effectively.<\/h4>\n<h4>Daultala has a total population of 20,732 while it has only one union council, Dream of District Gujar
