Co-operation acknowledges that Aldershot is the Home of the British Army and Rawalpindi is the Headquarters of the Pakistani Army.<\/h4>\n<h4>The connections between the British and Pakistani armies have been strong and long-lasting and this Statement recognizes their importance.<\/h4>\n<h4>The Rawalpindi District provided significant support for the British war effort in the First and Second World Wars.
