Blackburn, UK; Thousands turned out to watch horse riders from across the country take part in a tent pegging tournament.<\/h4>\n

The Blackburn Kabaddi Mela (festival) returned following a three-year absence and took place throughout the day at Pleasington Playing Fields.<\/h4>\n

Festivities began early in the morning with horse riders from several local and national clubs taking part. Each club, dressed in their club colours with matches turbans made a grand entrance joined by supporters with dhols.<\/h4>\n

Later in the day a volleyball and weightlifting competition wowed crowds.
\nAs temperatures soared in the afternoon, the kabaddi players took centre stage.<\/h4>\n
