In which large number of people participated. President of the State Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry was the chief guest at the event held on Friday evening, June 17, 2022 at the Parish Hall of Birtwell. The meeting was presided over by the host Muhammad Zahid Raja.<\/h4>\n

President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that the Indian Army had committed grave human rights violations in occupied Kashmir while the punishment meted out to Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik was based on injustice. We will take legal action and file an appeal. He also mentioned Kashmiri leaders Shabbir Shah and Mohtarma Asiya Andrabi who have been committed to independence for a long time.<\/h4>\n

Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry said that his ten-day visit to Britain was in connection with the campaign for the release of Kashmiri leader Yasin Malik. He went to London, Dublin and Brussels. The President of Azad Kashmir has re-established the Kashmir Peace Forum to bring the British Kashmiri community together on one platform and said that the appointment of officials should be made by August 31.<\/h4>\n

The barrister has also nominated the president and a few other officials. Mr. Muhammad Zahid Raja, Chairman of the meeting, said that in order to achieve independence of Kashmir, we all have to work beyond politics and communalism. He thanked all the friends for coming here.<\/h4>\n
