London on the day of martyrdom of Maqbool Butt. British Kashmiris staged a protest outside the Indian High Commission in London (UK) on Friday, February 11, 2022, the 38th anniversary of the martyrdom of the father of the nation, Maqbool Butt.<\/h4>\n<h4>On this occasion, Kashmiris chanted slogans against India. Shaheed Kashmir Babae Qaum Maqbool Butt demanded handing over the remains of Shaheed. India executed Kashmiri leader Maqbool Butt Shaheed on February 11, 1984 and buried his body in Tihar Jail, Delhi, India.<\/h4>\n<h4>To this day, Kashmiri people have been demanding that the body of the martyr be handed over to his heirs. So that the shrine of martyrs can be buried in Srinagar Kashmir with honor and respect according to Islamic customs and traditions.<\/h4>\n<h4>Kashmiris around the world, including across Kashmir, are protesting on the day of martyrdom of Maqbool Butt Shaheed. There are processions. Meetings are held while rallies are also held. The protest of British Kashmiris continued from half past one in the afternoon till 4.30 in the evening. The London Metropolitan Police were also present. Kashmiris also carried banners, posters and flags.
