Rawat ( Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, October 31, 2021) – A new born baby of Kallar Syedan was allegedly abducted from the nursery ward of Holy Family Hospital, Rawalpindi. Shahid Mehmood’s father has lodged an application with the police station. The abducted child could not be traced till the last information was received. Shahid Mehmood, the father of the abducted child, said that The baby was delivered by caesarean section. Due to crying and repeated vomiting, the baby was shifted to the nursery where his aunt used to feed him through a feeder. She went and nursed him and came back after which the nurses staff asked her to come again at 12 o’clock and when the aunt went to the nursery for breastfeeding around 12 o’clock there was a doll lying in the place of the baby and When inquired, no one had an answer. The abductee’s father Shahid Mahmood said that the entire staff of the hospital are involved in the abduction of her new born son. He said that the CCTV cameras outside the hospital work but the nursery ward camera is inactive.
Dr. Shazia Zeb, MS, Holy Family Hospital, admitted that the new born baby was in the nursery, from where the baby went missing, after which the watchman and other staff were suspended and an inquiry committee was set up. She said that she herself has called the police who have set up roadblocks. ASP and other police officers are present on the spot who are checking the CCTV footage. MS added that the child had respiratory problems so he was shifted to nursery ward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
