Rawat; The Supreme Court has adjourned indefinitely the hearing of a case related to acquisition of additional land for construction of Dadhocha Dam. The apex court directed the Punjab government to resolve the land issue with the locals. On Tuesday, a three-member bench headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the case regarding acquisition of additional land for construction of Dadhocha Dam. During the hearing, the locals who donated land for the dam took the position that the Punjab government was not paying compensation for the land taken for the dam.
