Urban water supply, street lights and municipal committee erupted against poor and substandard development works in Kahuta. Mosques stopped getting water for ablution while water tankers and wheelbarrows doubled the price of water. The protesting citizens along with Press Club Kahuta and esteemed area contacted Assistant Commissioner Kahuta Yasir Rizwan, CO Municipal Committee Kahuta Nadeem Riaz, Sub Engineer Jawad and President PTI Kahuta Tehsil Khurshid Satti, President Kahuta City Raja Waheed Ahmed on which Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority Taking immediate action, Tariq Murtaza directed the administration to restore water supply to the citizens within 24 hours day and night. On which Sub Engineer Municipal Committee Kahuta Muhammad Jawad, Amir Ishtiaq and other officers reached Panjar Chowk Kahuta protesters. He assured them that water supply would be restored to the citizens within 24 hours very soon. He said that the staff of water supply is new and there are difficulties in it.
