Norway; The annual meeting of the Potohar Welfare Society was recently held at the local restaurant Shalimar in Oslo, which was attended by members of the society. The meeting was presided over by Chaudhry Ismail Sarwar, President, Pothohar Welfare Society and Aqeel Qadir acted as Stage Secretary. The meeting was inaugurated by Allama Iftikhar Ahmad Chishti, Member Election Commission of the Society, who recited the Holy Quran and Naat was presented by Rasool Maqbool Chaudhry Iftikhar Nazne. Aqeel Qadir presented the annual performance and financial report in the General Assembly session. Aqeel Qadir said that the purpose of the establishment of Pothohar Welfare Society. In the event of the death of a member of the Society, the Society shall bear the cost of up to thirty thousand crowns for the funeral and shall provide food for thirty persons to the bereaved. If the family members do not hand over the responsibility of burial to the society, then the society will help the family with twenty thousand crowns in this regard. During the proceedings of the meeting, it was also informed that the number of members is 180, including children. On this occasion, Chaudhry Ismail Sarwar announced that the money collected by the members of the society in the form of donations would not be spent on any other religious, political and social program or anything other than funeral and burial. \u06d4 Elections of the society were held on this occasion in which Chaudhry Abdul Hameed President, Raja Ashiq Hussain Vice President, Faizan Khalid General Secretary, Aqeel Qadir Finance Secretary, Chaudhry Ismail Sarwar Information Secretary and Shahid Saeed Kodpati Member were elected. The advisory board includes Tariq Ashraf, Aziz-ur-Rehman, Khalid Warraich and Chaudhry Javed Sarwar. On this occasion, the establishment of the Election Commission was also implemented for a period of two years. The persons who have been included in the Election Commission include Chaudhry Iftikhar Naz, Muhammad Aftab, Atif Nawaz, Allama Iftikhar Ahmad Chishti and Aftab Sarwar.
