The arrested criminal had shot dead a citizen in 2010 over a land dispute and fled abroad. According to details, Rawalpindi police The arrests of the accused involved in serious cases are continuing. SHO Mandra along with his team fulfilled the legal requirements for the arrest of the fugitive convict by contacting Interpol and ensuring the arrest of the culprit. SHO Mandra and his team arrested Zafar Mahmood from Abu Dhabi on his way back from abroad.  SHO said. The notorious criminal along with other accomplices had shot and injured Abdul Karim and Mohammad Nadeem in a land dispute in 2010. Abdul Karim succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. The case of murder of the victim was filed by his father Ishaq. Several raids were carried out for the arrest of accused Zafar Mahmood who went into hiding to avoid his arrest and later fled abroad who was later declared a notorious criminal. Other accomplices of the notorious criminal have already been arrested and challaned, CPO Mohammad said.
