Gujar Khan; Senior Civil Judge Rawalpindi has ordered to auction the land worth crores of rupees allotted for Pothohar University at GT Road Bowli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The auction will be held on January 15, according to details. Chaudhry Mohammad Azad said that the District Council Rawalpindi had acquired more than 814 kanals of land from the residents of Mouza Chahari Bangial and Chahari Kalial in 1996 at Bawli. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The landowners had filed petitions in various forums due to not being paid but no hearing could be held after which they had filed a case against the District Council in the court of Senior Civil Judge Rawalpindi on behalf of the locals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Delivering the verdict yesterday, Senior Civil Judge Malik Shahid Hussain Awan agreed with the arguments and ordered the auction of the land through which the proceeds would be paid to the land owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
