London; Four Sandwell councillors and a High Wycombe councillor have apologised for breaching Covid rules after appearing on a group photograph with no social distancing in place and enjoying snap on social media.
Councillors\u2019 Zahir Hussain, Mushtaq Hussain, Zahoor Ahmed, Mohammed Rouf, Ahmad Bostan andCouncillor Mazamal \u201cMaz\u201d Hussain from High Wycombe were pictured alongside 12 other people during a charity event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The councillors attended the Karahi King Village restaurant, in Acocks Green, Birmingham, on July 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was organised by the Overseas Pakistanis Welfare Council (OPWC) \u2013 an organisation which supports Pakistani expatriates in the UK \u2013 and supported by the Pakistani High Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The joint statement said: \u201cWe attended an event on Sunday, July 12, organised by the voluntary group OPWC to discuss urgent community issues in our personal capacities as members of the local Pakistani community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
